Our 6 essential skills are the fundamental skills we believe every student should embody to thrive both in school and in the wider world. These are:

These are embedded across all aspects of the curriculum to support students to continue to develop knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence. We promote the nine protected characteristics throughout school life.
There are nine Protected Characteristics: Age, Disability, Gender reassignment, Race, Religion or belief, Marriage or civil partnership, Sex, Sexual orientation & Pregnancy and maternity. These are promoted throughout school life.
